Elphael is a hyper-challenging area, even at level 150. Go collect all the Sacred Tears and Golden Seeds you need to max out your healing flasks. At this point in the game, you should have access to most areas of the map.
Spells or incantations are best, but arrows or even throwing weapons can do in a pinch. Many times throughout this guide, we’re going to recommend you take out enemies at range. Each one you face is basically a micro boss fight. The Cleanrot and Haligtree Knights in this area are some of the toughest enemies in the whole game. Spend them on levels or smithing stones or anything else you need as often as you can, because you’re also going to die and lose them a lot. You’re going to accrue a ton of runes exploring this zone.
Luckily, we’re here to make sure you don’t miss a thing. Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree is a maze-like fortress with tons of branching paths, filled with secrets and some of the toughest foes in the whole game. That means you’re roughly halfway through Elden Ring’s most challenging environment.ĭon’t rest on your laurels, though. You’ve made your way down the Haligtree branches, passed through the Haligtree Town, and defeated the Knight of the Haligtree.
